Notice any difference with Wii Component Cable?

Got one off Ebay and admittedly have only played Mario and Sonic Olympics (which says EDTV compatible) but can not tell any difference at all if Im honest.

Anyone else use one and notice any difference over the standard scart and if so with which games.

Cheers,
Simon

I actually think its worse I even returned my lead to the shop as I thought it was faulty, the colours are better and it seems to sharpen up the picture making it sort of blocky but I also got weird faint lines down the screen so I replaced the lead and got exacly the same - I also tried it on another TV and again the same

My PS3 with HDMI cable is spot on so god knows - the wii is back to the standad cable

tried all the settings but was dissapointed with 720p look at mario closely and see if you can see the faint lines

Yup - saw an immediate improvement. Besides which it meant I could use the component in connectors on my Onkyo :)

You have set the Wii for the higher resolution haven't you?

Yes changed the Wii to 3rd screen type setting 480p I think. Makes no diff on Wii Sports which I expected as I dont believe its EDTV compatible. Ive only tried it on Mario & Sonic Olympics so far and again no difference I can ascertain.

Got a genuine one at launch, much much better than the SCART. Zelda was the first I tried.
