cleaning inner wheels
 
what is the best product to clean my inner alloys, looks like years of baked on brake dust etc on them want to get them spotless. what should i buy? cheers.

for starters it'll be easier to take them off. personally i'd start with megs super degreaser cut to 10 - 1 and a toothbrush. then if this isn't strong enough decrease cut to 4 - 1. this should then have much more of an effect. with anything that's left which will probably be tar, autosmart tardis (tar and glue remover) then follow up with a good body shampoo, clay bar and perhaps a slight polish with something like menzerna intensive polish on the white side of a german applicator pad. finish by sealing them with a good wheel sealant such as poorboys wheel sealant.

cheers mate, just ordered some meguires degreaser off polished bliss website and their wheel back back brush so will give this a try, will take the wheels off as i do them. will also do the arches while im at it and going to do the engine bay. also ordered aerospace 303
