K-Sport 330mm fronts vs STI Brembo Fronts

Guys
Have any of you had much experience of both these kits and how they perform in relation to each other. Looking for mainly track based info but any experiences would be helpfull. :thumb:

The STi Brembos with Performance Friction Discs/Pads are awesome for road and track.

Performance Friction Brakes - Special Offer - Over £100 off!

Fully Patented, 2 piece floating disc/bell arrangement and curved vein. Really are stunning quality.

Have a read up on the PF website to see what makes them so different.

Bob
Thanks for the info. Well aware of the quality of these discs.
The reason for the query is Budget. The performance Friction set up is £600 plus a set of used Brembo Caliper's approx £350 total equals £950.

K Sport 330mm front set up £684 so a fair saving to be made.
I have already had some good information from Bren at Apex but was really looking for some feedback from those who have fitted them.:thumb:

Just got the Front Gold Brembo's and std discs, with PF pads on my classic. Did 200 miles on track at Cadwell. Lapping in the 1min54secs.
No issues at all, pad/disc wear was minimal too considering......

Just search under 'ksport brakes' for independent thoughts on the KSports :)

Zen are keen to continue working with us in Time Attack next year if that means anything to you :)

Ive recently put a set of 8-Pot K-Sports on MY00 with the Ferodo pads and would recommend them, initial bite of the brakes is the same as my old set-up (Ferodo DS2500 pads with 290mm DBA 8-groove discs), but the real difference is when you use the brakes hard, you can feel the extra stopping power, they feel strong and capable.

The K-Sports make great financial sense, my old set-up was due for new discs and pads which would have cost about £280, so I just bought the K-Sport set up and sold my old 4-pots on eBay for over £300, I got a complete new brake set up for not a lot of extra cash. Very happy!

Got the K-Sports fitted to my car front and rear. Very happy so far. Was very impressed by the quality of both calipers and discs. Not had a chance to track them yet unfortunately ... but I am almost certain they will stand up to that punishment easily.
