I am also a Scoob owner but having been bored with the impeccable handling, power etc i am currently restoring a R5 Turbo 1982 (mid-engined) anybody knows where to get manuals and stuff?

Oh my God!!
You are a brave man ;) I had a 1988 R5 GT Turbo and it was a death-trap!! I had to take the engine and gearbox out just to change the clutch, shocking. I'll have a wee look about for the manual but I don't know if it will cover your model. Good luck (you're gonna need it) :D |
That was my dream car in my teens - had about 10 models of them. What a car - 1400CC, with about 170HP!.
I personally had a Gordini - non turbo. Bodywork like paper, but went like a rocket!. Had a powerband like a 2 stroke motorbike. It used to redline in 5th gear! - equating to about 120MPH. Good luck to you. Tim |
Thx guys
Mine has the 180 hp kit and some 200 hp kit bits plus hewland g/box+ZF adjustable diff |
Give this man a try http://www.johnpricerallying.co.uk
