Plastic/rubber/seals with olish on them.
Does anyone have a good way of removing the polish/wax once it gets on to the window seals/ door handles (nissan) or on the plastic mouldings?
Thanks S! |
If it's black plastic you're talking about Paul, I generally use Meg's All Season Dressing or autoglym bumper care and that usually removes the white marks and makes it shiny black

Hi Mike,
Its all the black stuff, from window seals to the plastic door handles, used the AG stuff before, but after a while it just re-appears. never used Megs all season dressing before though. Thanks S! |
jeffs prime strong is good at cleaning then it polishes the trims up nicely leaving them a new looking black and not bling shiney - but I do use it by PC though

megs super degreaser on a toothbrush. only downside is any runs will lift the protection from the paintwork and you'll need to re-wax.

Ok thanks guys for the help, not bothered about having to reapply the wax, gives me an excuse to get out the shopping! lol

My preferred mthod is as per Matt's - either P21S Total Auto Wash or Megs Super Degreaser and a small stiff brush; takes time but gives full removal and thus permanent results. :thumb:

Thanks, a job for the weekend lol
