Cats... the four legged kind
I have a problem with cats round my way, they seem to like climbing on cars.
Next door has 5 of them and im forever seeing paw prints on my roof and and slide marks down the wing and to top it all off there is 3 parallel scratches one of the wings which im pretty sure are claw marks.. Just wondering if anyone has any methods of keeping cats off their cars. Garage is not an option and not keen on covering and uncovering it every time i want to use it, and non deadly ideas would be prefered i guess. Tim |
Cat pepper, spread it around the car imo.

or 'get off' spray works well or lemon juice but that could get bit sticky on your driveway.
we use get off to keep our cat off the flower bed and from sratching the beds at night, works well and doesnt harm them at all. |
Had the same problem at my old address. Red Hot Chili Powder seemed to do the trick but you will have to persist until they get the message!

Oh dear ive been infracted go on who was it?:lol1:
I dont see the problem really I hate the things they even killed my fish and also hide there crap in my soil so I have every right to hit back. |
I live in a small zoo of 7 animals including 3 cats. My missus has worked in zoos and rescue centres all over the UK. She worked for the PDSA before her present job as an animal warden, so animals are kind of a big thing in our house and even she wasn't offended by that comment!! :lol1:
Maybe the problem with the cats is because the car is TOO clean. The cats are sliding down the paintwork instead of walking and as a natural instinct they are using their claws to try and stop. That's why my car hasn't been properly polished since I bought it a few months ago. Honest, Officer. :lol1: |
I like your theory paul,
