Sainsburys, Milltek and that damned cat

In Sainsburys today and got queuing behind an account manager for Milltek. Had a natter and he's told me that while they don't deal with the public, they'll always sort out the locals (I work like 1/2 a mile from them), and then he tells me that I don't need the second cat for my V6 4Motion!

So if I want to pop in and get the rear box replaced from the cat back I can :D So very tempting......

May I refer Sir to his question in the other thread :lol1:

Looks like I have my shopping list sorted out then... question is: Do I wait until the end of the month or go nuts and stick on the card?

Yes.... that thought had also occurred.

I think I need to hide my debit and credit cards for a while.

I replaced both the downpipe cat and also the rear one on my STi with one free flow cat in the rear pipe which was good enough for a 400 bhp gas flow if needed. The car went through every emission test with flying colours with the appropriate power increase.

Les :)

if I get the resonating chamber version (extra silencer) how loud is it? I like a bit of noise but not that full blooded rampaging T Rex thing

Shark Man 06 August 2008 02:42 PM

A VR6 engine can never be too loud (although VR5s sound better) :D Stick VR6 and Milltek into a youtube search.

Imprezas, yes, excessively loud ones just sound pants.
