And where can I buy them?
Appreciate your input. |
There is one available from UK dealers, but I'm not sure if the part number is the same:
ST350224S000 - SPHERE STI GEARKNOB 6 SPEED John |
Thanks, anyone else, do Prodrive make one? Where can I get it? I saw an aluminum prodrive fitted to an STI somewhere.
Help. |
The Prodrive gearknob will be available for the STI car from the end of March/beginning of April (for all territories), the alloy gearknob for the WRX is available now for non UK customers.
|
The STI and WRX have different fittings due to the STI (with the 6 speed box) having a little collar which needs to be lifted to engage reverse gear.
Thanks, Nick. |
Nick, I want to order one, how do I go about it?

As you can see from one of my above posts, the gear knob for the STI will be ready in approximately six weeks. Send me an email then with all you contact details etc and I'll see what I can do. Regards, Nick. |
I got a very nice gear knob (for my MY01) from Halfords either full or half leather with an almost identical Momo badge in the centre to match the steering wheel, looks the bizz!
The standard one screws off (in case you did not know) and the replacement is held on with 3 grub screws. I was a little worried at first in case it worked loose, but it seems very solid. Steve PS. it was about £40 [edit] oops sorry, but i assume the sti has the same fitting as the wrx! [Edited by Steve001 - 2/11/2002 6:07:14 PM] |
