Who is the best Subaru Specialist in Scotland????
 

I have decided to spend some money on my 2002 STI Prodrive but I need to know who is the best Subaru specialist in Scotland (Preferably close to Edinburgh)?

Couldnt say who is the best as I havnt tried them all, but I'm really happy with the service I get at Hypertech Untitled Document

If you are trying to get them, best just give them a phone, as I think they were having problems with their internet, so couldnt answer emails for a while.

They are based in Bonnybridge so you'd maybe go the M9

It depends what work you are talking about? Another thumbs up for Dunc at Hypertech . If you are going to be getting the car mapped then Andy Forrest is the man to speak to. :notworthy

With regards to service, mechanical issues etc, i have heard nothing but good things about AWD in Perth.

From Edinburgh it's only 2hrs drive down to Harvey Performance in Darlington. I used them to have my headers ported and a new turbo fitted before visiting Mr Forrest.

Extreme Motorsport in Whitburn are also very good.

Hypertech and AWD are both superb. Used them both in the past - and AndyF of course for any mapping.

why are all the good specialists mentioned here on the east coast?Nobody on the west that can be reccomended?

Cheers for all the advice. I went to Hypertech today for a power run and to get my heads up display working. Very happy with the quality of service. Next is to get it mapped by Andy Forrest.:smug:

GI Motorsport in Kilmarnock gets good rep not too far from you in Paisley.

To be honest it would depend how far you want to travel.
You wont go wrong with Duncan at Hypertech or Steve Whitson both very good.
For mapping as you have sussed it has to be Andy F

Andrews worked on all my cars & cannot fault any of his work, best service every time.

Paul preps rally cars etc, and I doubt there is a tuning company in the country who could beat him on price.

Shennan Motorsport will do you an engine rebuild. He was in the middle of 2 engines when I dropped my car off on Friday. Top guy is Paul :thumb:

Only person up here to do an impreza engine is Steve Whitson down south Seven Darley of SD Motorsport
