F1 drivers "It'll be tough..." Grrrr
Why do they all insist on saying this? Lewis Hamilton says it every other sentence and it's driving me insane  "We've made a lot of improvements since the last race and have got a good balance but it'll be tough..." Grrrr... "We put our lucky underpants on this morning but it'll be tough..." Grrrr....
Who can I write to to complain? :D |
Try contacting Max. He like any excuse to penalise the silver cars.
For sure. Now those two words drive me mad. For sure. :freak3: |
THey could cut down the pre race show by about 90%. It;s the inane questions and coments that get me.
"You'll notice that some of the tyres have white stripes on them...." Yes, I have noticed that, could you explain it to me? I mean I know you have done so every single ****ing race for the last 3 years, but just to make it clear... |
James 'I'll mention Michael Schumacher at every opportunity possible and repeat myself ad infinitum' Allen
|
Argh! I can't find the remote. I need to mute the tv now the cock is talking:eek:
I'd love Damon to knock him out:D |
Am I the only one who actually thinks James Allen is a good commentator?
Also, why is Martin Brundle never at this GP? |
Brundle is racing elsewhere.
|
Anyone else thinking that it might be the "time of the month" for scoobychick :wonder: :D

Wouldn't it be great if F1 could start from a clean sheet. Bin all the current teams, bin the cars, bin all the current drivers, Bin the FIA. All new teams, all new cars, all new drivers and all new FIA.
Will never happen, but at least the 1st few races would be interesting. Or, get some 1960's era F1 cars and stick the current rabble in them, see how good there are then - and see if they can last the distance. |

Who can I write to to complain? :D Speaking of F1 I'm seriously gutted for Massa - he drove a cracking race today, and really deserved the win - especially as when he wins he really looks like it meant something and is savouring the victory, unlike some of the other drives who look like they're keen to get on the plane home straight off the podium.. |

More lewis bashing:nono:
|
Don't get me wrong, I love Lewis and have followed his career since he was in karting (he's a local lad) but I can't stand the ridiculous interviews they all give. Every time it's the same old stuff. It's much more interesting when they interview Crazy Dave - the new Eddie Irvine of F1 or Mark 'I'm just a bloody normal bloke' Webber :D
I'm with Pete Brant on this :thumb: |

Yeah really hacks me off Hamilton always saying this - infact Hamilton is starting to hack me off in general now. He clearly puts on polite "Im everyones friend" "good luck to my team mate, I hope he wins!" sort of show, but obviously this isnt the case in reality.

I like a close championship and this would've made things interesting. Trully sorry for Massa, he drove a great race and deserved to win. |

I'm with Pete Brant on this :thumb: I really, really hope that when the BBC take over next year, they'll get rid of everyone involved apart from Brundle. Mark Blundell in particular is one of the most useless people I've ever seen on a sports programme. |

I doubt those that complain about him could do a job even remotely as good. :) |
I was glad to see Massa AGAIN outperforming Kimi, but it was annoying that the misfortune of LH and FM promoted him to a podium after languishing mid-field throughout. LH did well to get back and recoup a reasonable point score, and you have to wonder if he'd have maybe challenged FM towards the end.
I agree with what people say about the characters, or lack of, in the paddock. Irvine was my favourite interviewee, closely followed by DC, especially if he's miffed about something. Even Schuey, a German, had more charisma than most of the lobotomised, dreary driving machines running now. I pray that Kimi loses so I don't have to listen to him talk about a win. I can handle his drab demeanour if he's sulking about something, but he even sulks about winning. |

Yeah whats up with Kimi at the moment?! He just doesn't seem interested, but even though he was cruising along half asleep in the midfield, he suddenly starts racing along and constantly setting fastest laps as soon as it becomes clear he was in with a shout of a podium, so the pace was there?!
Kimi spent most of the race behind Alonso and eas unable to use the speed he had in the car. The nature of the Hungary circuit with all its sweeping corners is that there is nowhere to make a 'late braking dive down the inside' so all you get is a short straight and then a high speed sweeping corner leading to another and then another short straight and so on. The dirty air prevents the cars getting close and the relatively high speed of the corners prevents any overtaking attempts as the cars never slow down enough. Once Alonso was out of the way after the 2nd stop then Kimi could drive the car to its potential and then he was the fastest man out there. Nothing to do with being asleep or not trying. This thread makes me laugh - a little knowledge is a dangerous thing ;) |
I couldn't even begin to commentate to the same level as James Allen but give me the mike for the same amount of time and I could be equally as annoying. He drives me mad with his horrible voice, his wittering on about irrelevant crap, his stupid analogies, his irritating laugh and don't even get me started on the way he has to give a full synopsis on everything that has happened in the race each time they come back from an ad break. He is totally and utterly annoying. And looks like a greasy gimp :D
|
.... that race looked tough today :smug:
|
Never liked that circuit. It's probably the worst on the calender imo :(
|
And Bernie's just signed to use it until 2016 :(
