Zen Performance

Lateral Performance

Andy Forrest Performance

Api Engines

ScoobyClinic

For 500+bhp the may recommend re-linering the block which is expensive.

As above. I hope you have a BIG budget just for the engine build, then there is the suspension and brakes!!

Roger Clark are probably regarded as the best, but the prices reflect that, as does the waiting list! :)

you WILL have to get a block with thick wall liners
you can get away without and some here have.
We diddnt!!

i can tell you Roger clark will recomend a CDB 2 litre with a stock crank Centre or end thrust for 500 hp They say it makes no difference if the oiling is uprated
unless you have a totaly unlimmited budget
I was told youd run out of money befour you made enough power to break a standard STI crank

Pennine Subaru for the build and Lateral Performance for these bits

Std EJ257 Crank
Crower rods
Wiseco Pistons
740cc injectors
MD321T+

Also think about fueling (fuel pump/fpr/rails etc), cam belt, headers, head bolts, oil pump etc etc

All thrown into a 2.0 CDB reliered to 2.5

Bats-Wrx 30 July 2008 06:24 PM

Buy peanuts EJ22T block have it forged and stroked to 2.33. No problem for 500+ bhp.
