White wheels

I've just been brave/mad* (delete as appropriate) and bought a set of white wheels. Clearly brake dust is about to become the bain of my life.:wonder:

Any advice on a wax or something similar that I can use to coat the wheels to prevent the brake dust and road grime bonding and make them easier to clean.:p

Cheers

Jon

one product - poorboys wheel sealant. available from polished bliss and anywhere that stocks poorboys products. clean the wheels down fully. then apply 4 or so layers of the the sealant in thin layers. then each time you wash the car add another layer. don't use harsh chemical cleaners or you'll remove the layers of sealant you've built up.

btw - yes you are mad. but white wheels look stonking when clean.

Cheers mate, you have confirmed what I suspected about my state of mind.

I'll get shopping as the wheels arrive tomorrow.

Also, get a Wheel Back Brush so you can get into the backs easily every time you wash the car and keep the inner rims clean. White wheels always start to look pish as soon as you fail to stay on top of cleaning the inner rims, so make this a part of your regular wash routine. ;)
