Defi Gauges?

I have Defi gauges in my Scoob and have recently had to change the battery in my car.

Obviously this clears the radio settings etc but will it have cleared the Defi settings i.e. warning limits etc? I have recently brought the car so not sure what the orginal warning's would have been set to.

Thanks

you can set the warnings your self . i have the defi Bf gauges fitted
mines are set to warn @

boost 1.6
oil presure 2.0
oil temp 120

you set them using the control unit.
i'm unsure if they are reset if the battery dies/ disconected
you could run the car while you change the battery , just be carefull not to let the + lead hit the chassie.

If You

change the battery it sets the gauges to default settings which are far to low for normal everyday driving, happened to me when I had some work done I get getting the boost warning when I was doing 50mph:brickwall
All reset now, as per prvious good settings given but my boost is set to about 1.5bar.
Enjoy:luxhello: :luxhello:

Thanks for the info guy's, thats exactly what I was after ;)

I have downloaded the manual for the defi controller unit so I should be able to work out how to re-set them :)

The previous owner mentioned to me what the actual boost was set to when it was re-mapped. I take it I will want the warning set to a little more than what the car is running, should it over boost etc??

Cheers

Ye press

the warning set button and the 3 gauges flash the one that flashes the fastest is the one your gonna adjust just use the up and down arrows on the controller bwhen yo have set it it moves onto the next till all gauges are set up, simple. :) :)
