few days break with mrs..any suggestions?
 

as above really, got a week off ar begining of august along with the Mrs...looking to book a few days away somewhere..anyone have any suggestions..I am in Glasgow and am open to going anywhere in Scotland or down south...looking for somewhere reasonably priced, romantic(ish) lol...thanks in advance for any replies.

You could do a lot worse than to visit the Isle of Man if you haven't already.

Isle of Mull :) Love it there and loads to do, plenty of guesthouses. Go to Calgary Bay - white sand and clear water. It's in the gulf stream and totally protected from the atlantic :)

Don't know if your missus is into camping or not but camping is permitted on the bay. Theres nothing more refeshing than waking up to the view of the bay over looking the white sand and water :) Great to swim in too!! :)
