Classic suspension setup????

Been out in the car today and have made my mind up that before i go down the more power route it may be a good idea to get my car handling and stopping a bit better than standard. The stopping side is better now with the 4 pots on so quite happy with them. Problem is if i dive into a tight bend i seem to get a lot of understeer it does pull itself straight when i get on the gas but is a bit worrying when i first turn in. So can anyone recommend a good suspension setup? Been looking at the Whiteline front and rear anti roll bars, Alloy drop links and anti lift kit then maybe some poly bushes but dont know what suspension kit to go for don't really want to lower the car a lot and don't really want to be spashing out a grand on Tein kits. What are your setups????

On MY95 STi Wagon

Standard STi Suspension
Standard STi Front Strutt Brace
Whiteline 22mm Adj front (soft)
Whiteline 24mm Adj rear (mid)
Whiteline Alloy Drop Links Front
Whiteline Alloy Drop Links Rear
Whiteline ALK
Whiteline Rear Diff Lock Kit
Whiteline Steering Rack Bushes (TB Fitted)
Whiteline Rear Diff Bushes (TB Fitted)

Feels great. Have a few more bits to add but so much fun even on standard springs. Will eventually have to bite the bullet and get the strutts replaced when they have had enough.:)

Get your shocks and springs checked for heir condition before fiddling around with sway bars etc would be my advice, based on the advice I got from Zak at Mocom racing. If they are on an older classic, they are likely to be past their best.
