It isn't all bad: I saw Shrek more times than I care to mention and Kung Fu Panda was great.

Another thumbs up for Kung Fu Panda!
Not too sure about WALL-E, i cant bear to watch an animated movie where they dont say a word the whole time.

Once you've seen it could you let me know if a 3 year old would like Wall-E? He loves Toy Story 1/2 and Bee Movie, but the Incredibles was too old for him. He already has started talking about Wall-E but want to make sure he's sit through the whole thing :)

Cheers
Richard.

MJW 13 July 2008 02:17 PM

Took my little girl to see Kung Fu Panda yesterday & thought it was brilliant ! I think kids' films are getting better IMO. I'll probably check out Wall-E when its out too.

SunnySideUp 13 July 2008 09:05 PM

We had a 3 year old opposite us who was laughing his socks off ... I was laughing at him, laughing at WALL-E :lol1:

As usual with Pixar Films, there was a short before the main feature and that was so funny, a Rabbit and a Magician - absolutely BRILLIANT!!

The main film wasn't half bad either :thumb:

CyprusScooby 13 July 2008 10:07 PM

And theres no previews advertised!

SunnySideUp 14 July 2008 09:46 AM

I got free preview tickets :D

Scooby Snacks 23 14 July 2008 01:24 PM

So what was it like then????

My 3yr old saw Kung Fu Panda with my wife last week and loved it. He's now banging out about Wall-E so it's my turn to take him next time.

Does it look like the robot from Short Circuit or is it me?

Snazy 14 July 2008 01:27 PM

Wanted to go see it in the States, after being chased by a bin at Downtown Disney lol.
Missus didnt wanna see it, so we didnt :(

messiah 14 July 2008 02:39 PM

I've seen some of the HD trailers for it and the animation is incredible - blows Cars out of the water.

Even condiering taking my 3 year old to watch it, haven't dared take him to the cinema before but might risk it for this...

Nat 14 July 2008 02:49 PM

Can't wait to see this :D

PeteBrant 14 July 2008 02:51 PM

I quite fancy this - apparantly the first 30 minutes has around 3 words spoken..

Nat 14 July 2008 02:58 PM

Apparently Pixar chaps watched loads of old silent movies to regain the lost art of portraying story and meaning without dialogue

'There Will Be Blood' is also pretty sparse with dialogue at the beginning. Brilliant film though ..

Thats on my "must see" list. I think Daniel Day Lewis is a fantastic actor.

THORPEM 21 July 2008 02:07 PM

great animation !

stevebt 21 July 2008 05:02 PM

I watched this with my 9 year old daughter, she loved it but I got bored with it very quickly.

Iain Young 21 July 2008 05:20 PM

Saw it last night. Thought it was a great film. Didn't get bored once, and was in fact sorry when it finished.

Guess it's all down to your style of humour / personal taste :)

rallymad_homer 21 July 2008 06:34 PM

Saw it on Friday.. I enjoyed it. What i also found very very funny was the short film before the main show. It was a magician and his rabbitt... thats all im saying.

Hope you enjoy it.

Pixel Pedro 21 July 2008 10:25 PM

That rabbit and magician was hilarious, make sure you see the first short film!
