2005 STi Spec C Type RA
Should the above car have AP Racing brakes or Brembos as standard :wonder:
|
Brembos
|
Im sure they come with Brembo's as standard
|
Is the AP Racing setup a optional extra then ? As per the one that PCM & Litchfields have ?
|
Are u thinking of the Type RAR? they come with 6 pots as standard
|
APs werent an option on the Spec C RA unless you went out and bought them seperately
|
Nope Spec C Type RA

Bodski I take it from that your looking to buy one.
|
I've been keeping an eye on these 2 spec c ra's also, they are bloody nice cars but just can't make my mind up wether to splash out or not:wonder:
I am more swayed towards the Litchfield one even though it has more milage. One question if anyone know's the answer, is the spec c ra a 2ltr or a 2.5 with the twinscroll turbo? If you are going for one bodski, then it's a good choise of scoob:thumb: |
Shippy the spec-c type ra is a 2 ltr twinscroll with all the sti extras added on if its the white one on litcho's site it used to belong to liam who posts on here as MR RA the car has been well looked after with some added extras.
|
Cheers for that gussy.
It looks as though it's been well looked after, love the look of it with the prodrive alloys:cool: |
ra
thats a nice ra ap brakes front and back awesome just buy it and get some enkei finished in black on it or type 25 it
|
Been looking at a different one.
Lets hear peoples thoughts on it. 2005 Spec C Type RA. LESS Than 7k miles. Seller was informed by the previous owner that it had been remapped to c350 Bhp, but no proof that it's been done or by who. Also has no service history, but does have the V5 in the owners name. |

Had my suspicions about that car, it looked nice but possably had a front end crash at some time, the front lip spoiler was not the original STi item though in the pics its hard to tell if the rest of the car was original, and there was a bent/repaired one out there somewhere :( Tony:) |
|
Tony thats the one which has had a bump the front bumper is off a uk version hense the cut outs for headlight washers which the RA didnt have.
|
This is the one Subaru Impreza STI Spec C Type RA Very Rare 2005 on eBay, also, Subaru, Cars, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 15-Jul-08 06:44:06 BST)
Same seller, same car so it sounds kinda dodgy to me |
I think he's geniune, but probably doesn't know it's had a front bumper change. As long as the price is adjusted accordingly and the damage wasn't too bad, then I wouldn't be put off.
|
What put the person off that purchased it from Ebay on the auction ending 29th June??
Gotta be summin dodgy, although no negative feedback?? |
The RA at Litchfield's is indeed my old car. The full AP setup cost near £3,000. The car was serviced every 5,000 miles at Powerstation.
The RA going on eBay had a massive smash. Avoid it at all costs. |
Think Ian has a buyer in the pipeline for the RA. I was enquiring about it last week as well as Immys at PCM.
The search continues........ |
