can you confirm that that item is the hose that goes between the resenator box and the turbo.

I don't know sorry, I will have a look at mine tomorrow if I can. Best check exactly what it is before you spend £99.:) Post a closer pic in technical and I am sure someone more familiar than me will know:thumb:

David

I got the same inlet hose on my 95 wrx too that needs replacing. I've had real trouble finding one for weeks. The ones from SFS and Samco for the Ej20 GC8 version 1&2 aren't he same. from what I can work out, I will have to replace the inlet hose direct to the MAF and fit an oil catch can for the 2 breathers that are connected to the existing inlet hose. It means the "resonator box" has to go...im not sure if that the right way but im led to believe is the only way....

Mine is Taped up at the moment...have you tried looking on it for a part number and contacting a subaru dealer? I enquired (you'll need to give them the chasis no) and they told me £135 + vat. Im not sure if its the corrct one tho.

PLEASE let me know if you find a replacement as replacing the whole lot is going to be pants...

Samco do an inlet hose kit for pre 96 cars, also in the kit is the intercooler-manifold pipe. The inlet pipe is the one that the dump valve is attached to.

Dan...do you know if its the TCS22?

from the pic i see it has a place for the dv but not for the 2 other pipes, were could i plumb these in.

I don't think we are talking about the same piece of piping.

Look at the pic above.. Does the one you mean come off the resonator box to the left of the oval?

davidgoodwin1803 07 June 2008 10:10 PM

yes its the large pipe that goes from the resenator box and goes off at a 90 deg angle, it has the exit side of the dv and there are two other pipes that go in to it, one is plastic pipe and one rubber pipe.

like in the pic i posted on this thread.

I'm not sure you can get a silcone one. Subaru dealer can get OE though, I needed one not so long back as mine perished and cracked. It was about 25 quid.

davidgoodwin1803 07 June 2008 10:19 PM

is it possible to get a metal tube that is made for the early inpreza that has the hole for the dv and the other pipes.

Thanks

I looked for ages for something similar too, couldn't find anything. That's why I went to the dealer for an OE part.
