After it was recovered it sat in the compound for 2 weeks because it was found in Ware, the police didnt know whether it was Essex police or Herts police to sort out the forensics.

Anyway when they eventually finished with it, it went to the repairers and it took them a week to assess it. I also had to go and walk round the car with them. The car was completley undamaged so only needed new keys, locks and ignition barrel and its taken them 2 weeks to do it

Could of picked it up today but Mondays a better day for me

FYI - try not to lose a key....................its £500 for a new one

The assesor reckons the bill would be about £1,700 - i'll guess i'll find out on Monday
