Hairline scratch removal?
I'm after some advice on removing some scratches. I have a blob with Obsidian Black metallic gold flake paint.
I have a few hairline scratches around the car and was wondering if there was an easy and inexpensive way of 'blending' them in. I hear T Cut is a massive NO NO on subaru's. Anyone got any experience and advice? Many thanks!! |
I can vouch for T-Cut being a bad idea! I plan to get my car detailed in the summer, and from all the threads i've seen on here, swirl marks and light scratches seem to disappear with somebody using one of those rotary polish machines, as long as they know what they're doing. I know it's not a cheap way, but i think it'll be money well spent.

Depends how deep they are.
If they've gone through the clearcoat layer then you're not going to buff them out. Try posting in the Car Care section with pics for decent advice from polished Bliss (nice guys). Rich |
