Good clubs in Brighton?
Will be in Brighton on saturday night and looking for recommendations for a decent club ... not into the commercial stuff on West Street, so looking for a more relaxed, underground type place ... any thoughts??
Has anyone been to The Ocean Rooms or Audio? Cheers :) |
Digital.

I see your text is written in pink..............
:D What 'sort' of club? |
maybe head for Kemp town :Whatever
|
Should know the clubs - was in Brighton for long enuff
Maybe the seafront for *less* commercialsed . 12 year ago ( so not perhaps applicable) used to frequent a nightclub in western rd off brunswick rd ( hove border) owned by Russians :) |
Try the Honey Club, Zap [or whatever it's called now], The Beach...all along the Arches on the seafront.
My recommendation is the Funky Fish Club [used to be the Catfish]. Looks like a wedding reception but cracking music. Roo :) |
I like this place to start off with early evening
The H Bar Website Then I'll go wherever I can get guest listed/do some ligging. |
Another shout for the Funky Fish.
If you are going out in Brighton, just remember to take Photo ID, no matter how old you are. |
hoenyclub or digital for dance music, not really commercial but great if thats what your into.
don't go to oceana or tru. chavvy and boring i think. well all this depends on how drunk you are :D |

Thanks for the suggestions folks ... was dubious about honey club etc as had read they have an attitude on the door and a strict dress code policy, but may give them a try after all ... popped into Coalition in the day a couple of weeks ago, so might try there much later - has anyone been there at night?

Blimey, a girl on Scoobynet.
The pervs will be homing in soon ;) |
Depends on what sort of club you want?
Mainly music and dancing... Kooklub or the Funky Buddah (small club) (both have minimal amount of muppets) If you want seating/chatting areas as well, then... Coalition (Formerly known as the Beach) or Oceana's (is actually ok if it's not too busy, depends on how many people they 'shoehorn' in)

Honeyclub have a little attitude to dress but put a slick top on and Ms Lavine will whisk ya to the front [or she did we me and the missus :)]. Spent many a long night there and Zap [Zap has changed name and I can't remember but I know it's me favourite, ahhhhhhhhhhh the good 'ol days of Danny Rampling :D] Ocean Rooms was another place I frequented that was an eye opener some nights :norty: Roo |
