Forester STI upgrade TMIC

Hi,

Im looking at upgrading my TMIC to a possible APS TMIC as a FMIC is too much ££££'s and im looking at 400hp (no more )as im running 340hp at the moment and will want to upgrade Turbo at a later date. will this be a good choice or is there a better Topmount than the APS,or do i need a FMIC for this side of 400hp ?
(P.S this is for road use not track days)

Regards, charlie.

Im not sure you would want to push 400bhp on the 2.5ltr STI engine, the pistons are known to be the weak spot, unlike the 2ltr versions which are stronger.
Have a word with an engine builder like API, but personally 400 may be a bit too much for the engine to handle.

Seriously, like the other poster said, come to the dark side and post over on Forester.org.

Several people running over 400.

Say hi when you're there.
