I am considering covering Saturday's track day at 'Dono', but don't really know how well attended it's going to be, or how many of you folks might want pix of their pride and joy.

If there is sufficient interest I'll be offering a similar service to November's event, in that the whole day will be shot on Digital, and files supplied on either floppy or CD.

Comments please !

Josh

Well I'm there, and a mate in an Elise who'd probably want a print or two.
Anyone else?

You going to Oulton Park by any chance? Would love one of your photos of PTMW! http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif

I'm sure lots of other people would like some of your photos as well http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif

Josh,

I will be at Oulton too, wouldn't mind a couple of decent shots, hopefully not at the moment of impact with a tyre wall though...

Unfortunately the nature of my work precludes my planning that far ahead, so I won't be able to decide on Oulton for a week or so.

I can vouch for three of us going on Sunday, that we would be interested in piccies, especially digital.

harj 10 January 2001 09:10 AM

Josh last time the Pics were ACE, I would love the same type of thing again please. Only problem is im only on track until lunchtime then ive gotta scoot, any chance of having some blown up this time as ive no idea of who can do it?

igratton 10 January 2001 09:14 AM

Josh,

I got some proofs from your excellent work approx 18 months ago when I had my green wagon.

I'd love somebody to take some shots of my car...that are not blurred/out of focus etc.

I'll come find you on Saturday.

Ian.

Josh L 10 January 2001 10:06 PM

Thanks for the testamonial Webbie, but I'm still unable to offer you any discount http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif

If I attend I won't be offering to write the CD's on-site, as you guys have better things to do than come and see me. However, any previous CD customers can bring theirs along and I'll add the new pix and send them on. If you only want a couple of pix or so, I'll put 'em on a floppy for you there and then for a fiver.

Any queries please let me know.

Josh

Definitely interested Josh - how much?!

Tim Bomford 11 January 2001 12:05 AM

Josh....read the last line of my post again. I am not wishing to undermine confidence or any such thing. Non of us I guess knew it was on your website and there was considerable waiting around. Stef and other can back me up. I was NOT "having a go", just wanted to see those pictures. RELAX

1. Cannot recommend Josh's photo taking ability enough ( unlike his driving http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif )

He covered our day at Bill Gwynne Rallyschool and did us all a CD of our pics. These should appear in the next issue of True Grip. I have had some blown up ( by Josh ) and they are top.

2. Josh. Please read Tim's original post again - I think he means the mini meet you helped organise in 1999 and not the post TRAX thing last year. And he did put the codasil at the end saying he wasn't having a go.

Did you get out of the bed the wrong side this morning ? http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif

Tim Bomford 11 January 2001 09:16 AM

JOSH L....I know I have asked this before but on behalf of all those who stood around for ~2hrs at the meet you organised at the Caldecotte Arms August 1999 whilst you took photos, why have we not seen any of these pictures and why do you not answer me?

Yours (wanting to see the pictures...not have a go at you type thing http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif) Tim

Josh L 11 January 2001 11:22 AM

Kryten,

A few pix on a floppy £5
As many as I shoot of your car, on a CD £12

Any other questions, let me know.
Cheers

Josh L 11 January 2001 11:25 AM

Tim,

I'm sure I'll regret this post later, but you've really picked the wrong day to write a post which is so obviously aimed at inspiring confidence in potential customers!

First of all, apart from the fact that it was less of a meet and more of a watering point after Trax, it was more like 20-30 minutes shuffling cars around for a pic which was taken by several people, not just me.

Secondly, the picture was posted on my website for some considerable time (as I was unable to post it within a thread) and a link was posted on the BBS.

Finally, to anyone who has not dealt with me before, this was not a commercial venture, and nobody ordered or paid for any prints.

Rant over

harj 11 January 2001 11:30 AM

Ive dealt with Josh before and the man certainly knows his Photography, Josh took absolutely loads of pics of me and crammed them all onto a CD for me which was great.

I would certainly reccomend him to anyone on this BBS.

Harj...

Josh L 11 January 2001 01:33 PM

Cheers Neil and Harj.

Actually though, last years get together was just a slightly less formal version of the previous year, when more than half of those who attended were on their way back from Silverstone.

I'm sorry Tim, but I did say you'd picked the wrong day! However, if you were that desperate to see the pix you should have contacted me earlier, and I could have mailed you either the link or a copy. I've still got it somewhere, although feck knows what I've put it. I'll have a look around.

To anyone who is particularly interested in pix on Saturday, could you please mail me with your details (reg etc) so that I can try to ensure I get sufficient pix.

Cheers

Josh
