Digital Boost Gauge Problem
 

Hiya Guys

Need some help, got my self a Race X Digital Boost Gauge and am having a few problems. Iv got it all connected up, however, as soon as you turn the ignition on, it reads 64.4 and a warning light.

Iv changed if for another one thinknig it was faulty, but its doing exactly the same thing and the Race X help line is useless just like the boxed instructions. It has four wires coming out the back:

Black (Conected to negative)
Red (Connected to Positive)
Yellow (Connected to Dimmer/lights)
Orange (Conected to sender)

all above as per instructions

The sender didnt have any instructions relating to it, but iv wired it up as follows:

The sender has two prongs, one marked (-) and the other (S) along with the vacume connection which is self explanatory. Iv got the (s) connected to the ornage sender wire and the (-) prong conected to earth.

Dont understand what im doing wrong, but any help would be greatley appreciated.

update, just found, if you conect the sender wire to the earth wire, the gauge turns to 0.0, but now im just more confused
