well i finally had the balls to do it. lol. it took me 3 1/2 hours but was well worth it, even the cuts and bruises. lol. i read a few how to's and got a fair idea of what needed to be done. the only differance to how i done it was that i used a heat gun and not the oven. far more controllable for me, and i put tiger seal around the whole of the gap inside both units so i had a good new seal.

im pleased with the results.

I was reading your other thread last night.

I'm really impressed with the results, looks great mate.

i'm hoping to buy a blob soon so I'll be tackling it myself too!!

i used tiger seal. once i got the lense off i then applyed it to the inside groove ( you'll see what i mean when you split them ), and that sealed it lovely, all the way round. although i did apply a bit of heat as i was closing them together.

hope this helps.

I did mine a couple of weeks ago now, one of the top mods you can do to the Blob Eye. I enjoyed doing this actually (does that sound werd?:wonder: )

All it is a £13 for silver bulbs, £5 on some extra sealer, and patience.

Good work there buddie.:thumb:
