New member & Wagon...Bristol

Hello my name is Darren and I live in Bristol, I'm a proud owner of a 1997 Wagon, well until I pick it up in a week or so :)

I've Been searching for a few weeks for a cheap classic shape wagon to throw the fishing gear in the back of, I have only found a couple of examples that I liked, most were stupid distances away from Bristol. Searching through Piston Heads late last night I spotted this one in Bradford, just over 3 hours drive :(

JAP Performance UK : Subaru Impreza STI 3 555 Wagon

I couldn't resist and decided to drive up this morning and take a look, it wasn't actually at the importers as it had only just come into the country mid week, it was at a performace garage having a rocker cover oil leak sorted (Common I think) . We nipped over to the garage and had a good chat with the mechanic about the car and after taking it for a test drive (it was LOUD) and a good poke around, I went back to the importers and I bought it.

Shaban from Jap Performance UK did me a really good deal, top bloke. :notworthy

These are the only details I have found out so far about the car and spec.
Monoco Blue Impreza STi 3 555 V-Limted Eddition Wagon
Number 106/555 only 200 of these wagons where ever produced to celebrate Colins victory in 1996 with the remaining 355 as saloon models.
The car is a V3 1997 with 68000 Miles,
Red top engine,
VF23 turbo (same as the 22B I was told),
Facelift lights and bonnet.
STi Front Spoiler
STI front strut brace
Twin Rear Spoilers,
Lowered Suspension Kit,
Apexi Stainless Steel Muffler,
Clear Lense Pack,
Roof Rails,
Wind Deflectors,
Tinted Back End,
Standard Engine,
Turbo Timer,
Carbon-fibre instrument panel
Unmarked STi Trim,

It will be ready in a week maybe 2 :)
