Busy weekend flaps, sti splitter and de-tango
Spent the whole weekend on the car.
After it was washed, I started on the mods. First job was wheels of and mud flaps fitted. While the wheels were off I gave them a good clean and a coat of wax. Also for some strange reason while the wheels were of I decided to give wheel arches a good lick of undercoat. Then I stared on the sti splitter. Spend two hours polishing in up with wet and dry paper and some cutting compound to get a nice shiny finish. Last job was the most nerve racking of all. Headlights out and de-tango. After a lot of cursing the job was done. Let me know what you think http://i297.photobucket.com/albums/m...2/P9050170.jpg http://i297.photobucket.com/albums/m...2/P9050172.jpg |

Thanks Guys for the comments.
The colour is aqua blue. Slightly lighter than the WR1 colour. Don’t think it was ever available in the UK, mine is a euro import. Below is a link to the guide which I used for the de-tango, I think it makes a massive difference to any impreza. How to clear MY04 headlights - photo instructions - NASIOC |
looks nice mate :)

See the link I posted a bit earlier.
Its a bit of a pain to do but well worth the effort. Only issue I have is on re-fitting the headlights, getting the gap between the top of the bumper and the bottom of the head light to be the same on both the left and right hand side of the car. But, the gaps were probably not even before they were removed, removing then has probably just drawn my attention to the problem. |
