Traded in my R27 for it. Opted for a standard car in Pure White.

First impressions:

Love it - it's beautiful to drive, civilised on the Motorway, a beast on a B-road!

Needs the 18's - for looks more than anything. Planning on getting the front fogs, STi lip spoiler, Prodrive GT1 wheels and window tints.

Looks great, just needs the dealer sticker removing from the rear window and the wheel balancing weights moving to the inside of the wheels and it'll be perfect!

best colour defo, needs 18,s in graphite or black still not to sure on the new shape though, probably grow on me in time.:thumb:

Anthracite GT1 are a must I think - I think the black ones are maybe a bit too much of a contrast.

Not liking the hatchbacks at all they dont seem to stand out as much as the saloon. I passed one the other day and from the rear view mirror it looks similar to a mini.

I like the wheels, you just need to get them painted gold now, go on you know you want to.

Looks sweet, like the front, not the back though! Would say no to one and your's looks great in that colour :thumb: Maybe go for some aftermarket anthracite wheels, as I bet most white ones will get the GT 1's, what about speedline turini's???

noticed the stan palmer sticker in the rear window were you the guy i was talking to on sunday at heaves hall ??

I'm actually from Glasgow. I just found Stan Palmer to be super helpful when I was orignally looking at the car and felt it fitting to give them the business.

The dark wheels look better than the (original?) silver ones. Looks good in white as most people seem to agree. Not yet seen a MY08 STi in the flesh yet though ...

Edit - why's the scoop much smaller than it used to be ie MY08 vs MY05 say?

The MY07 scoops are small compared to MY05 as well though. Less cooling required due to lower boost levels needed with the 2.5??

Not too bad Paul - not as much as the BBS ones fortunately! Wheels are £250 each plus tyres.
