it has underfloor heating!
not bad ...better than a static :)
Hmm, I might build one in the back garden and rent it out to those waiting for the housing crash ;)
About 2 years ago I did see for sale in Birkenhead a 2 bedroomed terraced housefor £9995 desciribed as a good DIY enthusiasts project. Dread to think what state of repair that place was in.
Thats the ideal garage!!!! :D
this would be much better then having a conservatory in the back garden IMO as long as you had the space
There was a 1 bedroom self contained out house you could buy for £5k a while back. Just goes to show its the land and the profits that cause housing to be so bloody expensive.
So good was the quality, I would happily have lived in one. |
You still need to buy the land, or have planning permission, it needs proper foundations, the costs would soon start to spiral. Oh n it's only ideal for dry climates, i.e not here!
ill have 2 :)

£4.95 for delivery :)

I don't know why, but I want one :D
I have an ideal spot at the top of the garden, with views over Eastbourne to the sea - it's a fantastic spot. Anyone know what planning permissions might be required? |

Clever marketing though - bound to fool a few... ;) |
Ah these are similar to what we have been looking at for an office at the rear of our garden although on a smaller scale - circa 5k which provide a couple resonable living area {office} and a room or 2 for beds etc should the need arise ;) we have been looking into it for when our 13yo daughter needs private study time for college etc
I used to have one 5m x 5m & it housed the hot tub at my old house, changing area & dead space. They are defo the way forward for anyone with a bit of space.
looks cool but 13 grand.I could get a decent size caravan for 8 grand..by the sea,and i could play allday and go kite surfing..:lol1:
Not quite as grand as that but I am currently lurking in mine, down the bottom of the garden, shes watching Americas next top model so I am in the shed watching a JJ Cale DVD (To Tulsa and back) in 5.1 surround with a glass of wine and Scoobynet beamed wirelessly from the house to my a pc (one of 5), might have a go on the Xbox in a bit !
This ones cost 1700 quid plus about another 1500 to get a base down, run electrics and fit out. Wouldn't want to live in one though, even a 13 grand one, they get a bit parky in winter and can be a bit hot in summer, the comparatively thin construction and lack of proper heating doesn't help, but as a place to escape to its great. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v493/J4CKO/007.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v493/J4CKO/006.jpg |
The cronies will find a way to tax the **** out of that cabin
I like the way the pics inside of it are all nicely decorated, probably with all utilities plumbed in as well. That little lot will cost a dam lot more than the actual cost of the 'house' obviously. £4.95 for delivery? 4.95 my arse. So is this what the gov are using for the FTBI now? :lol1:
