BOUGHT A CLUTCH OFF EBAY
I bought a clutch of ebay last week and im just wondering if I have bought what was advertised or if iv just bought a standard clutch
Here are a few photos of what I bought It was meant to be a 50% up raided stage 2 organic Can anyone tell me by the part numbers what it actually is? Part numbers are Bearing 5938 and D0709 Plate AA600 Diaphragm has no numbers or markings The plate has 2 lots of springs the big ones you can see and some smaller ones inside the larger ones The diaphragm seems to have bigger spines on than the last clutch I bought which was a stage 1 organic by tecniclutch http://i86.photobucket.com/albums/k9...Picture001.jpg http://i86.photobucket.com/albums/k9...Picture002.jpg http://i86.photobucket.com/albums/k9...Picture003.jpg http://i86.photobucket.com/albums/k9...Picture004.jpg |
Thats not an uprated clutch.
As I've mentioned before...avoid. |
Is it worth while saving on parts when there is a large labour cost involved?
Can't say I'm a big ebay fan either. Hope it's OK. |

Looks like your typical el cheapo organic to me, they get away calling it stage 2 by having bigger fingers to push the plate down harder for more bite.
The exedy clutches look better quality tbh. |
Looking at your pictures, it looks like a re-man clutch to me.
Metal parts look painted. Clutch plate rivets don't look original, and the cover looks like it has indents around the bolt holes, like it has already been bolted down. 99 times out of 100, painted/bead blasted clutches are re-man. Be warned. Mark. |
