URGENT URGENT.......car not starting

hi,

have had 3 years wonderful enjoyment from my scoob and now it has decided not to start....have had the very nice man from the aa out and he reckons its fuel related. i am gonna agree but i have a new walbro fuel pump, a new fuel pressure regulator and new 440cc yellow top injectors....can anyone think of anything else that would make the fuel pressure drop?

there are no leaks, the injectors are firing, the fuel pump works, and cant find any electrical problem.

any suggestions???
all help and advice is greatly appreciated!!!!!!!!!!

i woud suggest removing the pump and checking the filter bag is connected to the bottom of it, is on properly and that the small rubber pipe that connects the pump to the outlet pipe is connected and not split. Although the pump may be heard running. It may not be pulling any fuel up or if the pipe is split it will be pumping straight back into the tank. It is special pipe in there and if normal fuel pipe is used submersed in the fuel it will rott away and clog the pump up.

Mine cut out on me the other day and refused to start.

It turned out that the crank sensor plug was not clicked back on properly. Probably afer a recent oil change.

Luckily I have a SECs monitor in the car and just rang someone with the 'fault' code, for them to tell me what it was. He was rining me back when the AA turned up, which WAS quite amusing. Easiest call of the day for him.!

It may be wort adding that before when the car started it took a long time to catch i.e turning over for about 15-20 seconds then bursting in to life.

Pete.
