bit more detail required...

car?
front/rear?
price range?
coaxial/component?
headunit?

for the record, i have alpine upgraded coaxials in my scoob front and rear. yes they make a hell of a difference coupled with a jvc headunit.

with it being a gb270, i dont know what size or what type of speakers come standard so sorry about that.

coaxial speakers are usually two way single speaker set ups. components have the main bass speaker and a little tweeter. regards amps, it depends how powerful you wanna go.

my headunit is plenty powerful enough to power 2x alpine 6.5" speakers on the parcel shelf and 2x 5-1/4"alpines in the front doors.

id find out first of all what size speakers you need and indeed whether you require components or coaxials before prices.

think my rear set me back about £70-80 and the front were abut £25. kenwood headunits are pretty good, with around 45-52 watts per 4 channels, so unless you wanted a really loud speaker set up amplification may not be required.

im not very clued up on car electrics though, i just took old ones out, new ones in speaker wise:lol1:
