turbo bearing

I've stripped down my turbo and removed 1 of the bearings which had a score round it (ceramic) i've put it back together and the shaft seems to be perfect, would it do any harm to chuck it back on to the car minus the 1 bearing out of the bearing race???

Not recommended.. the bearing was there for a reason in the first place..

aye, but I'm only talking short term until a new bearing can be sourced and delivered

As above, if you run the turbo without the bearing you will probably destroy it.

Also, these turbo's are not meant to be pulled apart and re built unless you have access to specialist equipment.

It will now need balancing, if this is not done it will drasticly reduce it's life.
