Dog 1st and 2nd?

Question for those who know.
Is it possible to have dog gears for 1st and 2nd and helical gears 3rd 4th and 5th?
Reason I'm asking is because I have a Prodrive S2 gear kit but have damaged second and probably will not be able to find replacements for first and second.
Just exploring possiblities, any help much appreciated.

You're comparing apples and oranges here.

Dog is the method of gear selection, the most common alternative is syncro. If it is a road car do yourself a big favour and forget all about dog.

Helical is the design of the gear teeth, the alternatives are straight cut or semi which is halfway between the two. The trade off for the added strengh of the straight cut is they are louder, semi is a compromise. You can mix and match these in pairs i.e. 1st - 2nd and 3rd 4th. Maybe that's what you're after.

Thanks for the information.
I guess what I should have said is straight cut gears.
So it is possible to have straight cut 1st and 2nd along with what I have already which is semi 3rd and 4th and standard 5th?
Any ideas on where I could find a straight cut 1st and 2nd?
Would it make sense to try and find these used, say off of a rally car, or would that be risky?
Sorry for all the questions, just loved the car with the Prodrive S2 gearset I bought it with, now my ratios are all messed up with the temporary standard 1st and 2nd in the car - need to get it sorted!
