can i run differnt tyres?
 

Hi all

Can i run differnt tyre makes on the front and back axle.

Got Yokohama on the front, was thinking of putting toyos on the back.

Also can you just change 1 tyre if u get a puncture?

Broadly YES !

However the accepted thinking is to put the better tyres on the rear of the car....

I find that worn-out Yokohamas on the front was far better than the two cheap nasty concrete items I got for the winter...
on track the cheap tyres just caused huge understeer...

got new yokos on the fron £89 each plus vat.

Was looking at some toyos £80 each fitted for the back.

I'd pay for two more Yoko's myself, then you won't have to worry...
