upgrading my95 to 4pots

hi i have a 95wrx import and the brakes are seriously underpowered, i'm looking at geting a 2nd hand set of later spec 4 and 2 pots, apart from needing larger discs from the tiny 266 and 240ish, is it just a straight forward swap of the calipers and discs, or is there more to it?
i need to be able to at least slow down from speed if not stop.:lol1:
cheers

Fronts are a direct swap and relatively easy.
Rears require a little more work and some extra parts. If you have a quick search for 2 pot rear conversions, you will find some good posts on the subject. I have the fronts on mine and am looking to carry out the rear conversion at some point in the future.

Yes as mentioned , all the fixing points on the front are the same on all impreza's from 1993 to 2007 , all discs and calipers will fit , the only thing you need to watch on the fronts is on the later STi's had a different PCD on the wheel studs , so if your fitting the later Brembo's the discs will need new holes drilled to match the early PCD.

With the rears , the 2001 onward 2 pots and 290mm discs will fit straight on with the mounting bracket we do , same goes for fitting the rear breambo's , but the brembo fitting kit also comes with thicker handbrake shoes as the handbrakes are larger o the STi.

Hope this helps

Cheers Ian
