Tuning Specialists Scotland??

Hey Folks,

Can anyone recommend a good tuning/diagnostics garage to have a look at my 94 WRX? It doesnt appear to be performing the way it should. I am finding it rather sluggish/unresponsive?

Thanks in Advance...

Andy Forrest is the man for mapping, without doubt, but he doesnt do Subaru parts fitting/repairs etc

fabulous555 15 May 2008 06:06 PM

Il second Kenny Browns. Id not go to AWD myself but thats cos theve done me over in the past.

EleanorBhoy 21 May 2008 03:59 PM

Well,

still waiting on my documents...

I'm even more confused, theres alot of mixed reviews, was planning on going to greer, but not sure now, perhaps this chap in hillington, thats not too far from home.

Cheers Folks

black subaru 06 23 May 2008 11:03 PM

yeah kenny brown hundred times better than greer you just need to compare there workshops to see the difference

WUZ 24 May 2008 06:44 PM

Dunc at Hypertech will sort you out, so will AWD. Both are good at what they do.

Russell

exvaux 26 May 2008 06:33 PM

Erm alan at greers rebuilt my engine and everythings running fine so far,and price was decent too,i think the problem is same with a lot of garages 1 bad story can ruin a reputation a lot of which comes from folk who have "heard" this or that.

exvaux 26 May 2008 06:36 PM

Or if not greers and are in east ayrshire try andy gallacher motorsport, altho he specialises in fords he does do subarus as well and does some work for greers.

Kenny Brown's son races successfully in Formula Ford and Keeny is the main mechanic. Also, it is the garage business that funds his son's career. If he wasn't any good, he wouldn't make money, nor would his son's car be reliable. These are all the ingredients of a reputable company.

As other have said too: Hypertech Bonnybridge. Really friendly bunch with shed loads of experience with Scoobys and other Jap cars. He re-built my engine, did all my suspension and geometry - highly recommended. :hjtwofing
