im trying 2 post mine, in the midlands section, if i can get da bleedin uploader 2 work!

NM 28 January 2002 05:59 PM

These what u looking 4 :D

What a fantastic turn out we had on Sunday. Not even the weather put you lot off. In total we had 50 ! yes FIFTY!!!!! Impreza’s, 1 x Skyline GTR, 1 x EVO 6, 1 x 16v Clio, 1 x Astra and a crazy Cossie 205 pug.

We also had sweet cars from TSL and Scoobiemania showing what you could spend your hard earned cash on.

The Coventry guys all met at the Chinese on the A5 at around 1pm. As I drove into the car park there were already 10 cars parked up. At 1.30pm we made a move to set off in convoy towards Leicester, as we were leaving the Chinese the Northants guys joined us making a 25 car convoy. My best memory of the convoy was seeing the facial expression of the driver in a Sport Wagon oblivious of the meet whom couldn’t believe what he was seeing travelling in the opposite direction. A real Kodak moment!

Here are the pix you have been waiting for…..

Hope this works as I am using a new uploader :)

Wow - wot a turnout that was !!!

Haven't seen quite so many of the buggers in ages.

Nice to see a skyline - I'll have one at some point.

That bloody P1 has a massive exhaust - the driver must be a real pratt ;)

Ian.

Hanslow 28 January 2002 10:47 PM

Poop, looks like I missed a good 'un :(

Oh well, that's what happens when you can't control AWD in the wet :(

Should hopefully be back on the road for the next one (if it ever gets repaired  )

kevin stanton 28 January 2002 10:51 PM

looks like i missed a big day out
loads of cars

P1Fanatic 28 January 2002 11:33 PM

What exhaust is that on the P1 with the 18" Gold OZ's? Looks like the HKS Hiper to me.

Also has the owner (or anyone else with the gold Oz's on their P1) got any better piccies as I was dead set on anthracite, but after seeing that pic Im not so sure.

Jza 29 January 2002 11:01 AM

No Hanslow - thats what happens when you dont bed your tyres in properly.....

Nice pics - but you missed me off!!

Jza

Hanslow 29 January 2002 12:26 PM

:p

Yeah, but if I could have controlled it, I wouldn't have ultimately hit the barrier

Me and the missus talked about setting up a business to pre-scrub tyres.....why don't manufacturers do it?????

Richard Askew 29 January 2002 01:13 PM

...they do!!! Demon Tweeks will buff ya competion tyres and road tyres for £20 each  I'd rather take it easy for the first coupla miles :D ;)

igratton 29 January 2002 01:22 PM

Hi P1Fanatic

the P1 with the dustbin size exhaust is mine :D

Yeah - I didn't really like the look of the dark grey 18s either - didn't like the standard P1 wheels at all and they were the first thing to change.

I'll try fish out some more photographs for you.

regards

Ian.

NM 29 January 2002 03:22 PM

Jza

Mail me with your parking position and car details as I have some other pix that I have not posted.

Anyone know where I can get the lip for the front spoiler that's on the blue Impreza with gold wheels in top picture.

Muchas Gratcia

Mark

NM 29 January 2002 05:42 PM

Graham Goode Racing about £50.

Gridlock Mikey 29 January 2002 06:01 PM

NM, you've probably got the pictures of Jza's car stored in your "Jesus, i know it's a scoob but it's as ugly as hell" Folder :D:D:D:D:D ;)

Mikey

Jza, you know i'm only kidding, i've gotta get as much abuse in as I can before you convert the headlights ;)

NM 29 January 2002 07:13 PM

That might be why I didnt post it :D

Jza check out the midlands pix posts as Scooby-si has added some pix, could be in there m8.

Cheers

Neal

Scoobyslack 29 January 2002 08:36 PM

DAMN...I wish we could get a meet together that was that big here.
Even in Utah where 1/4 cars is a Subaru (mostly Outback Wagons  ) we could only get 13 or so together. There is not the exposure of Subaru as a performance car here that there is and has been in the UK, your all lucky.

Ian Cook 29 January 2002 08:49 PM

Hmmm, is it cos my car was filthy that there arent many pics ;)

rsquire 29 January 2002 09:36 PM

No Ian..

It's because of the colour scheme ;) :D

NM 29 January 2002 09:52 PM

Scoobyslack

U pay for the travel costs and we will be there m8 :D

Ian

Liked the flames out of the back of the car when you parked up, didnt get it on film though cos I was to busy looking for my fire extinguisher ;)

Neal

Ian Cook 29 January 2002 11:33 PM

Neal ;) car has built in fire extinguishers ;)

mark.coleman 30 January 2002 08:39 AM

NM, do you mean £224 a pair, that's if i'm looking at the right things.

NM 30 January 2002 09:50 AM
