Pete Doherty finally gets a stretch!!!
At long last, after taking the p**s for so long, the skinny bag-head gets 14 weeks for breaching his bail conditions again. Not long, but definitely what he deserves:lol1:

How long til he is released... I give it a week!
However I feel he should be staying in for 14 months not weeks! |
14 years might be better

People are envious of his success, I believe you're one of them. |
Pete Doherty is a tit. He deserve's more than he's received and has for a long time.
But, whoever issued the above infraction should step back and think about their life.... or lack of... ;) |

Why? Because as a druggy he has more talent than you, had better looking girlfriends and achieved more in life?
People are envious of his success, I believe you're one of them. If being a druggy is an achievement then thats cool, he's achieved a lot. Me I am happy with my wife, new baby on he way, nice house, etc etc :thumb: |

lol, infract away, you might even get me banned if you're sad enough.
To those that don't think he has achieved you probably haven't listened to his music. It's what he was originally known for after all. |
I didnt infract by the way, I only popped on after the footy to post in sport and saw the thread!!
FWIW though, I don know any of his music, and probably a lot of the population dont either. I heard him sing something once on some show and I thought he was bobbins |
Famous? I thought he was infamous for breaking into his band-mate's place and burgling it to be able to buy drugs.
The guy is a waste of space and sets the wrong example to the impressionable. It's about time he got sent down, just so anyone who thinks he's cool sees that even he is not above the law. |
You cannot deny there is something about his music, lol
|
Pete Doherty hasn't a musical bone in his drug fuelled body. At least nothing I'd consider music.

He'd be better off jacking up his music..
|
He might be singing a different tune soon when big bad baz decides to make him his bitch :)
|
He should get a proper stretch. Stick him on the rack in the London Dungeon and wind it up until he snaps in half. I haven't heard any of his music as far as I know and don't particularly want to. His behaviour makes him a complete pillock. The music industry ( rather like sports as well ) is one where the money you make is often inversely proportional to the size of your brain. The shame of it is that people like him end up being role models for 'modern youth', and look where that gets us.

People are envious of his success, I believe you're one of them. It seems that if you don't agree with the torch wielding, Sun and Daily Mail collective that seems to run Scoobynet these days you are punished. For the record, Pete Docherty is one of the most influential modern day musicians, drugs or not. How many of you complain about Hendrix, Bolan, Marley, Presley, Rolling Stones, Sinatra, The Beatles etc because they used drugs? Infract away. :) |
Theres lot of confusing my own opinion for fact in this thread. Not liking something does not make it 'crap'; sorry. You (collectively, or singularly) may not like Pete Doherty, in your ScoobyNet right-wing massive sort of way, but you cant deny that The Libertines and Babyshambles have both been extremely successful and critically acclaimed bands.

Hendrix, Bolan, Marley, Presley, Rolling Stones, Sinatra, The Beatles .
Are you taking the pi55 mate??? how can you even compare that waster to the above^^^^^^ should have been locked up ages ago, instead of wasting tax payers money arresting the cnut about 25 times a month. |
With regards to people 'never having heard his music and not wanting to...' Ive had many many similar conversations with people who sing along to The Libertines (STILL on R1s 'B' playlist after five years!) or Babyshambles with little or no idea who it is, only that they quite like it.....

Infract away. :) Hold up.......Frank Sinatra......Jimi Hendrix.......Rolling Stones..... and Pete Doherty? Give it 40 years and nobody will know who the hell Pete Doherty is unless he manages to top himself in a suitably novel way. I've got more chance of scoring a date with the Queen than he has of getting in that hall of fame. Kevin |

The only stuff I really know about him is what he's infamous for, drugs, booze, spitting at people, bumping uglies with Kate Moss. A real role model:razz: About time he was locked up. If he's such a talent, then maybe the possibility of missing out on things like Glastonbury might slap some sense into him.
Any form of addiction is a cruel fate, but with the apparent advantages he's had, he could get help if he really wanted to, even if it took a few attempts. My impression is he couldn't give a rats rectum. |

His music is also surprisingly good, if you had actually listened to it (which I doubt) you would find it to be deeper than you are assuming. Perhaps a closer comparison would be, The Clash, The Jam, Joy Division, Sex Pistols, Bowie, although the above artists are still a fair comparison due to the fact that most of the gripes here with him are over drugs. |
