April Showers !

LOL these are snow showers though

everywhere is white, kids are going to want to make snowmen tomorrow :)

phil_wrx 06 April 2008 12:43 AM

why why why are we having snow in easter? bloody climate change :norty:

daddyscoob 06 April 2008 12:44 AM

was snowing heavily here half an hour ago but has now stopped.

Sonic' 06 April 2008 12:59 AM

Easter has long since passed this year :D

Its still snowing quite heavy at the moment, the strange thing is its been roasting all day with barely a cloud in the sky and the sun blazing down

B-B 06 April 2008 01:01 AM

Snow??? Are we all getting some or where in the country are you?

B-B

Sonic' 06 April 2008 01:03 AM

Im near Liverpool :thumb:

B-B 06 April 2008 01:06 AM

Aha - bit further north than me then :lol1: here on the South Coast. We won't get any snow here.

Sonic' 06 April 2008 01:12 AM

Its still coming down quite heavy, but not sticking so much now

Would have been funny if the National would have been snowed off today, would have been a first (and I was backing the snowy one too to win :) )

B-B 06 April 2008 01:16 AM

:lol1: and did it win?

I will have a 6 year old boy campaigning for a move 'up north' when he hears we have missed out on the snow once again.

Kieran_Burns 06 April 2008 01:24 AM

We had a fooking Hail storm in the midlands - right as I was loading the shopping in the car - bloody hailstones bouncing off me noggin while I was frantically trying to load up 6 huge shopping bags!

Ouchies!!!

phil_wrx 06 April 2008 01:26 AM

im at work in warrington and its been snowing a while here and dont look like stopping

SiPie 06 April 2008 01:28 AM

Just before you all go blaming 'climate change' I had my 6th birthday party (April 5th 1975) amidst heavy snow (we had a treasure hunt, around the local woods, so it's remembered vividly)

Nothing new and remember easter was seriously early this year :thumb:

Inch of snow where I am just now :)

I ain't blaming climate change... I've had the sense to do some research and read the facts.

My head STILL hurts though ;)

phil_wrx 06 April 2008 01:51 AM

im blaming the snow fairies :Suspiciou

ScoobyWon't 06 April 2008 02:43 AM

The snow is still falling here in Nottingham. It first started mixed in with the drizzle as we left the City Ground after watching Forest beat Chealtenham.

Must say I've enjoyed watching the smokers getting chilly tonight while I've been warm inside :smug: :D

SwissTony 06 April 2008 07:06 AM

Well it is snowing down south as well and settling for now - on the Isle of Wight. Amazing.

boxst 06 April 2008 09:07 AM

It is snowing where I live in the South-East although the snow looks as though it'll turn to sleet and then rain.

Here in Portsmouth, we have had over 2 inches in a around 45 mins and there is no let up in it.

JonMc 06 April 2008 09:16 AM

Coming down heavy in Maidstone for about an hour now, hasn't completely covered the grass yet though.

David Lock 06 April 2008 09:45 AM

The good old British climate eh

This time last year we were planning for a 21st party for my daughter which we held on 14 April. Marquee in garden, one of the warmest days of the year :lol1: dl
