Tidgy 04 April 2008 12:44 PM

dunno but i've got some way way long shots for my office sweep stake lol

ShyTot 04 April 2008 12:52 PM

Don’t put your money on laryngitis – its a little horse!

Put a bet on ‘Dusty Carpet’, trust me it’s never been beaten
Or “Vee Neck”…...its a good jumper

My moneys on ‘Creosote’, I’ve heard it’s good over fences

Sorry...

SIMON (12-1): Thrived in races that demanded stamina last season and was going well in the National itself, up with the pace, when exiting six out. Sound jumper on the whole and has continued on the up this campaign - recording solid runs in defeat at Cheltenham and Kempton when crying out for farther on each occasion. Is 8lb higher in the ratings than 12 months ago and will have to do without the services of regular jockey Andrew Thornton (injured), but big run on the cards as he seems happy on any ground. Definite for shortlist, even if your name isn't Simon.
1) My name is Simon

2) The race is on my birthday

Worth a few quid ? :wonder: :D

Odds on 04 April 2008 12:57 PM

I'm probably gonna back that horse.

You've got to really! :thumb:

That's what everybody at work has been saying too.....

j4ckos mate 04 April 2008 01:02 PM

ive got bob hall in the sweep

Leslie 04 April 2008 03:03 PM

Don't bother to do it, just watch the race and bet a virtual £! Million to win on the horse you fancied and see what happens!

Les :)

davegtt 05 April 2008 01:22 PM

DArgent, Mckelvey, Cornish Sett, Point Barrow and Philson Run £5 on each. Good odds, reckon Im in with a shout on them.

Jer 05 April 2008 01:43 PM

Snowy Morning 24 £20.00 £460.00
Vodka Bleu 70 £10.00 £690.00
Iron Man 210 £10.00 £2,090.00

PaulC72 05 April 2008 01:55 PM

Ok then here are mine, just do it by names I have heard in the past, but never win anyway LOL

Cloudy Lane 7.4 £5.00 £32.00
Comply Or Die 10.5 £2.50 £23.75
Slim Pickings 12.5 £2.50 £28.75
Simon 13.5 £2.50 £31.25
Bewleys Berry 16 £2.50 £37.50
Hedgehunter 17.5 £5.00 £82.50
Mr Pointment 42 £2.50 £102.50
Fundamentalist 95 £2.50 £235.00

I have just tried that £25 free bet at betfair so I shall see if it works :)

mad555 05 April 2008 02:01 PM

Backed Simon @12/1 and Mr Pointment @16/1 and as always an outsider in the form of Contraband @ 500/1.

Scoobychick 05 April 2008 02:32 PM

I've put a couple of quid here and a couple of quid there on some rank outsiders each way (whatever that means :wonder:) with odds of 100 to 1 etc :lol1:

Well, you never know :thumb:

Scoobychick 05 April 2008 04:34 PM

I've won something (I think)! :luxhello: :luxhello: :luxhello: One of mine came second and I bet on it each way so I think that means I've won :D

I stuck money on each way for Comply Or Die and King Johns Castle.

Scoobychick 05 April 2008 04:36 PM

So what does 'each way' mean?? Where do I collect my cash? :D

little-ginge 05 April 2008 04:36 PM

I won two somethings:luxhello: :luxhello:

Comply or Die(1st) odds taken 7/1
Slim Pickings (3rd) odds taken 12/1

£2 each way ... can anyone figure out how much i will get back? I know it's onyl £'s but it's only for fun... can you guess I'm not a big gambler?:lol1:

Odds on 05 April 2008 04:37 PM
