Looking nice mate. Hope the bank balance quickly recovers!

What are they like compared to the OEM set up?

They're lovely!!! :D

TBH it is a bit hard to do a proper comparison, as i was using Carbotech pads with the old 4 pots, and they were awesome!!! A lot of the guys on the Lancer Register sware by them, and i understand why.

But the 6 pots feel a lot more 'solid' under breaking, and give me a lot more confidence.

olliecampbell 02 April 2008 11:18 PM

You washed your wheels ? :D

Very nice, fills the alloys a lot better!

hetz 03 April 2008 09:01 AM

RS Grant 03 April 2008 06:58 PM

They look great.. a mate went from Tony 2 Pots on his Classic WRX to AP 6's from Godspeed and the difference was absolutely unreal. Just mental braking ability once they were bedded in!!

Out interest, does a big brake kit like APs or K-Sports make a difference to an insurance premium... I know you cant answer for other companies, but in your own experience?

Cheers,
Grant

GSUS 03 April 2008 07:39 PM

You finally did it then Moley :lol1:

Great work mate :notworthy

The companies i deal with don't tend to load any extra for bigger brakes :thumb:

RS Grant 04 April 2008 08:16 PM

Thanks for the inside info mate, enjoy the new brakes. :)

Cheers,
Grant
