UK 6 speed box
 

I have a MY97 UK2000 and want to know if i want to change to a 6 speed box do i just need the uk box it self and it will fit to everything i already have in my car or do i need other parts on top to make it fit?

You will also need the 6 speed gear linkage and a propshaft from an impreza auto to fit it.

Gear linkage would ideally come with the gearbox and prop could be had pretty cheap from a breaker I guess. I did the same conversion but used a JDM 6 speed, a lot more pissing about imho

You looking minimum £1500 for the box, unless you find a bargain on ebay.

there are bargains on ebay just paid £450 for 03 6 speed box and prop without gear linkage

contact david at api for a price on a box, when i had my simtek fitted i enquired about a dccd 6 speed he said £2300 plus vat so i imagine a none dccd will be cheaper:)

I agree there are bargains to be had, I paid £450 for my 03 JDM 6 speed with prop, diff, linkage and starter motor from a member on here.

you did even better than me,the guy selling the 6 speed i got thought it was a 5 speed box
