parada spec 2's

anyone used them????

torn between these and t1-r/s, heard good things about the toyos not much about the yoko's

or any reccomendations for 215/40/17............

GazTheHat 20 March 2008 06:46 PM

There was a thread only a week or so ago regarding these. Bit hit and miss in the wet. Some praises (mainly from those that have them) and some bad words (including a tuners comments).

Search the thread out and check the tyre forum too.

The tread pattern on them lOOks  . I opted for the Toyos in the end though.

I've got the T1Rs but looking at what i've been told and seen the Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta's are supposed to be the best all round tyre at the moment, and at less than £100 a corner from Camskill or Mocom thet are a total steal

GazTheHat 20 March 2008 07:17 PM

I only paid about £75-80 for the T1Rs (ebay).

:D thats cause your a tight arse gaz

seen quite good prices on ebay, round £70 will get you the toyo/yoko to your door

grip most important, not too bothered about life as only do a set a year (4/5k), don't do a lot of wet miles either, slightly leaning towards yokos.............

If your that curious give me a buzz and i can show you, they are good tyres, a bit short on lifespan but they are grippy and predictable.

But i am getting a perrin alk soon, i really need to dial out that understeer, very annoying.

parada spec 2's I use them, and it bloody rains 99% of the time where I live.
Cant fault them, plenty of grip in the dry & wet. Even when there driven hard

I had Parada's on my GT4, they were a great tyre in the dry, couldn't break the grip (unless you were being really silly) never pushed them in the wet round corner but they did a 13.6 second quarter in the wet, seemed to hook up well.
