Is it just me, or has AOL been cr*p today? I have lost broadband for at least 30 mins on 5 occasions.

When I try to sign on I get the error message “The computer could not get an Internet connection. (Error: AC-3100 0x84008503)”.

It seems to lock up my router at the same time too.

Make that 6 times – it failed when I was trying to submit this!

But seriously............. is anyone else having connection problems today?

Yer there in the process of migrating everyone too the talk talk network which is heavily overloaded apparently.

I posted a thread on here a couple of weeks ago when i started having problems.

Originally in my router settings the username was my screenname@aol.com. After 3 days of being unable too be connect i rang india.

Was told they have changed it so you now need too use your "home phone number@diallbb.com".

:( since i was moved across it has been crap, speeds down too 1mb when im suposed too be on 8mb.

Tonight i have lost my connection 3 times. The router is fine and the connection is still there btu i get the same error message as you do. Have too wait 30 mins or so then it starts working again.

Few of my m8s also on AOl have also had the same issues.

Im in the process of looking for a new ISP. Planning on changing in the next few days.

I am thinking of setting up my own domain and switching ISPs so that I have non-ISP dependent e-mail addresses.......... but its finding the time to advise everyone of my new e-mail!

I know what you mean.

:( main problem i have is a number of websites im registered too are registered with that email so i need too go around and change them too an alternate email.

My main problem is finding a ISP too go with for a similar price. Not many can match AOL for speeds & price with no download limits or Fair use policies.

I cant get cable in my area, BE or uk online.
