can the speedometer be adjusted or repaired as mine is currently 10mph out found this out by my road angel Reading correctly, was wondering why I was getting flashed at when I was driving at 30mph by the speedo, I was actually only doing 20mph.
any advice would be greatly appreciated.

do you have the correct wheel /tyre sizes on the car?

No, the wheels are 17s from new shape impreza, not sure of the tyre size but thinking about it would explain the difference at all speeds.

Is the speedo resting st zero mph when stationary if not ,Take dash pod out of the car held in by a few screws and electrical plugs on the back , then you can remove the plastic screen , then gentley prise the speedo needle off with two screw drivers and then replace at the zero position .

It is resting at zero yes, thought the sensor was on its way out but the wheel size would probably cause this error.

Could anyone supply the info to work out how different size wheels affect the speedo?
