My friend is interested in getting a Spec C and has come across this garage on eBay - has anyone had any dealings with this garage or actually been to see this car?

Just the look of the advert puts me off. Whats with all the capitals!

I always thought RA = Racing Altered, and hence doesn't have electric windows, AC and other goodies. Or is that just something I made up?

RA on the newage stands for Record Attempt, for the 2005 car that cracked went under 8 minutes round the ring. Also agree with midlife it has the wrong seats they should be a black colour not the regular blue/black affair.

Noticed a few of there adverts on Pistonheads, There only up the road from me, So I might pop in to see what they've got in stock, as they seem to have a few Hawkeye's going for under £15k.

its a fake, look at the centre console, old style as in version 8 or before

there another keighley trade centre, stay well clear

Should an 04 STI have the arch lips on the rear?

Thought that was 05 onwards.

I also thought the seats were black.

This wreaked off false, but not being 100% sure of the models/differences i didn't really wanna comment. Plus the advert with bloody SMS speak on it, puts me off as well.

At best it's a Spec C (VLtd), at worst a cocktail.

heres a 2005, look at the heater controls

Subaru : Subaru Impreza STI

and then a 2004 (wr1 though)

Subaru : WR1 LTD Edition


if you look at the heater controls, 2004 is recessed, 2005 is flush. its one of the several points poited out last time this car was posted up lol

Aye, it has 2004 controls and a 2005 rear arch lip. :freak3:

its a mungrel, hence there like keighley trade centre, they had a suposed S201 on there site a while back, was a dodgy kit that was nothing like a s201
