Hello Sara,
You could try 192. It will allow you to search for someone and if it turns up details it gives you brief information, you have to pay to get more detailed stuff.

i tried that markus, it only tells you that the person exists, you have to pay for more. i will pay for a site if i have to but i am after a freebie first :p

You can use BT.com: Broadband Internet, mobile and fixed telecommunications products and service from BT for home and business and directory enquiries on there (it is free). As Markus says 192.com to look on the electoral role. You can also try Friendsreunited.

There is a service that I have used that you pay £50 and they refund if they can't find the person (which they couldn't with me unfortunately). If you want to go down that route, let me know and I'll find the site.

Steve
