Then yesterday I went to a rolling road day with the Focus ST owners club at Superchips in Buckingham (Maha RR)

Considering their fan was set up for a front mounted intercooler, my top mounted one was getting no air, I still managed 294.6bhp & 279ft/lb from a standard STi PPP

Nice pics Mark - must get myself on a trackday soon

Nice power figs aswell - most come under the 301bhp as claimed so yours it not to far out. Mine got 302/287 with green panel filter, H & S deres centre section and H & S backbox

Also - have you seen the Birchanger meet thread on the 30th?

Looks like you had a great day. Out of interest what were the focus boys producing?

essexboy30 16 March 2008 11:32 AM

Do you have a web address for the xtreme photography?

Sounds like you had a great weekend too.. i love Silverstone, nice flat fast circuit...

Anywhere between 230bhp-304bhp iirc, there were no big/modified turbos there, all were running the standard turbo. My old Focus ST make 292bhp.

TBH, its probably the most accurate rolling road I've been on, it was just annoying the fan was not blowing on my intercooler and causing high temperatures.

Not yet Dan, I'll have a look for the details, I can't see why I can't make it as it's a Sunday.

Edit: Am I being blind, I can't find the thread, can someone be kind enough to point me in the right direction?

Edit 2: Found it :)

It was the full Grand Prix circuit booked through Circuit Days - Home of Circuit Days, the Nurburgring 700 and the Euro Enduro

Quite a few race cars testing but they weren't too much hassle.

Ha ha that explains the 112mph average speed as I think I was only averaging 130mph along the Hangar Straight.
