Colour code splitter. yes or no?

Howdy,

Does anyone have any pics of early classics (preferably silver) with non colour coded splitters? reason why...........

after just dropping my silver 93wrx off at my local bodyshop to have two new rear arches, front bumper resprayed (because of stone chips) and a 'jun' style splitter fitted and colour coded, I had a thought......

Because ive still got the matt black side skirts and splash guards having a deep front splitter colour coded will look odd.

What about a matt black P1 style splitter:idea:, it'll look good with the matt black sideskirts and splash guards and when I come to have the sideskirts etc sprayed I can either leave it or spray it:D

I saw a friend's mica red MY00 with a black splitter and colour coded. I must say colour coded looks good, but I really did like it black.

keep it black, most silver scoobs have colour coded skirts n lip but have seen a few on here with black splitter/sill/guards and they look real smart, spesh with black alloys!

I have a carbon p1 splitter on mine, could be something to keep in mind.:)

Cheers guys.

I had the door handles done a while ago and if I was to colour code everything it may be a bit too much silver.

My car is fully coded, don't think it looks too much!

I'll 'shop a photo of yours if I can if you've got one to do!

Here's mine:
